I've thought about this some and I decided it's not at all twisted. If anything, it's a time-suck, but here I am sucking time, so I must not mind, right?

I'm still not inspired to pick up the book.

As for poetry, I am generally interested to try to understand it better, but that's a big grey blob to me, too.

So maybe I am now unwittingly consuming literature I would otherwise leave be?

does the google cache tell me more than it should? am i missing things by seeing too much?

part of me expects wonderland to be a twisted participatory and collaborative '23 things'.

and the rest of me doesn't really care how far off the mark i am, it is the imagining that is the fun part of games.

truthfully, i've never read alice in wonderland. as a kid i was never a reader but i saw the movie a few times and maybe a play once, and it alternately bored and terrified me.

sort of like this 'do cats eat bats' video:

now i feel like i missed out on some cultural touchstone. i don't suppose it's the first time, or the last.
